Special features of visual media have prompted religious propagators to tap into media – as a mode of communication – to impart their message to the audience and influence them in a proper manner. People from different walks of life in society including adults, teenagers and children are exposed to the influence of TV. As a genre, documentaries can leave an impact on the psyche and behavior of viewers. This article aims to review how Revayat-e Fath documentaries have affected the religious undertaking of its viewers. Religion serves as a message and the media is the means to convey that message to the audience. In this paper, qualitative and quantitative research methods have been employed based on collecting data and carrying out field research. The researcher has used the questionnaires he himself has developed, and has used SPSS software to analyze the results. The female second-grade students of non-profit high schools form the statistical population of the research. The researcher has also used Cochran's C test [a one-sided upper limit variance outlier test] as the sample size and collected data based on convenience or accidental sampling. Final results show that Revayat-e Fath documentaries do hold an influence over the religious undertaking of its viewers.
