Social capital is an infinite wealth whose preservation and production require conditions to be met. One of these conditions is social self-sacrifice, which is a symbol of altruism and philanthropy. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between social self-sacrifice and social capital among citizens aged 16-64 years in Yazd. In this study, 384 people were selected as the sample by survey method and by cluster sampling. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Cronbach's alpha was 0.79 for social self-sacrifice and 0.84 for social capital. Findings indicated that there was a direct and significant relationship between social self-sacrifice and social capital and social self-sacrifice explains 35% of the variance of the dependent variable (social capital). The results also showed that there was a significant relationship between age and marital status with social self-sacrifice, but there was no significant difference between social self-sacrifice in terms of gender.<br /><strong> </strong> سرمایه اجتماعی منبعی است که مردم جامعه، منافع شخصی خود را فدای منافع جمعی می‌کنند، سرمایه اجتماعی ثروتی بی‌انتهاست که حفظ و تولید آن نیاز به تحقق شرایطی دارد. یکی از این شرایط، ایثارگری اجتماعی است که نمادِ دیگردوستی و همنوع‌دوستی است. هدف از این پژوهش، بررسی تأثیر ایثارگری اجتماعی بر سرمایه اجتماعی در بین شهروندان 64-16 ساله شهر یزد بود. در این پژوهش، به روش پیمایش و با نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای، 384 نفر به‌عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. برای جمع‌آوری اطلاعات از پرسشنامه استفاده شد که آلفای کرونباخ برای متغیر ایثارگری اجتماعی برابر 79/0 و برای سرمایة اجتماعی برابر 84/0 به دست آمد. یافته‌ها بیانگر آن بود که ایثارگری اجتماعی بر سرمایه اجتماعی تأثیر مستقیم و معنی‌داری داشت و ایثارگری اجتماعی 35 درصد از واریانس متغیر وابسته (سرمایه اجتماعی) را تبیین می‌کند. همچنین نتایج نشان داد که بین سن و وضعیت تأهل با ایثارگری اجتماعی رابطه معنی‌داری وجود داشت اما بین ایثارگری اجتماعی برحسب جنس افراد تفاوت معنی‌داری وجود نداشت. https://www.shahedeandisheh.ir/article_152875_0b95bb903a39aca4747326fa9d271c0b.pdf
